Shipment of Products
We offer free shipping for all pre-paid purchases. Cash on Delivery (C-o-D) transactions will incur a charge of ₹30/-. Please note that discount codes cannot be applied to products that are already on offer.
Purchases are shipped from our own or third-party warehouses, stores, or offices from various locations across India. We aim to deliver the products to you within 7-10 days from the receipt of your order and payment. Order deliveries typically occur between 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday through Sunday.
The maximum order value for a Cash on Delivery (C-o-D) payment is ₹1,000. C-o-D is a cash-only payment method, and Gift Cards cannot be used for C-o-D payments. Only Indian Rupees are accepted for C-o-D payments.
The order amount must be paid in full before receiving the package and signing the delivery sheet. The package can only be opened after payment has been made. Goods must be signed for upon delivery. We are not responsible for goods signed by someone other than the person who placed the order at the address provided at the time of the order. As transactions are authorized by the cardholder, we are not responsible for incorrect addresses provided at the time of placing the order. The delivery will NOT be redirected or redelivered to any other address under any circumstances.
The selected product will only be delivered in the city where it is marked as “available” on this Site. Homely Eats is not responsible for damage to products after delivery. We will contact the customer to confirm the date, time, and address of delivery. If delivery fails due to any of the reasons listed below, we will attempt to contact the customer a second time to arrange delivery and may levy delivery charges for the second attempt. If the customer refuses to pay the second-time delivery charges, we will refund the entire order amount.
Delivery Considerations
Homely Eats will consider the order delivery “failed” in the following cases:
- Delivery not completed due to an incorrect address.
- Recipient not available.
- Premises locked.
In the event of floods, heavy rains, or a national bandh, we reserve the right to reschedule the delivery to another date. If the product is not delivered for any of the above reasons, we will inform you accordingly. All claims for shortages or damages must be reported to customer service on the day of delivery via the "Contact Us" page on our website. Any shortages must be noted and signed on the delivery challan copy, which should then be returned to the delivery person.
Delivery Charges
Shipping and handling charges may vary based on the product, packaging, size, volume, type, and other considerations. The applicable shipping and handling charges will be provided at checkout, allowing you to review these charges before making your payment.
Dispatch
Due to courier timelines, all orders received before 2:00 PM will be processed on the same day. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be processed on the next business day. Orders are not dispatched on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays.
